This carving is yet another wonderful polar bear by Tim Pee. This one is hunched low on the prowl for a meal, demonstrating the patience of the hunting bear. The sinuous contours and high polish accentuate the lean and hungry animal. Delicately carved from black serpentine, the face of the bear is expressive and detailed.
