Description: There is such a wonderful sense of balance and harmony is this beautiful carving by Etidlui Adla. The young walrus balances freely on its mother’s flipper, almost providing a sensation of floating. The soft, smooth bodies of the animals are complimented with some beautiful detailing in the faces, including the etched whiskers and tusks carved from caribou antler. The dark green stone has some marbling throughout it, giving an additional texture to the carving. |
