This owl perches atop an inuksuk. It is carved from dark green serpentine stone with lighter green marbling overall. Because they are great hunters, snowy owls are considered a sign of bravery. And because they can see in the dark, it is believed they can help people discover truths. Since the inuksuk is the trailmarker of the north, this carving may represent the courage to follow one's true path.
